Can you drive with jandals?
While it’s not illegal to drive in jandals in NZ, they’re not necessarily the safest shoes to wear when driving a vehicle. Jandals could easily slip off—especially if you need to brake quickly. It’s best to wear comfortable, closed-back shoes that offer better grip. Just keep your jandals close by and slip them on when you get to the beach.
Are jandals good for your feet?
Jandals go with off-duty days, like when you’re lounging by the beach or strolling along the boardwalk. They take a second to slip on and off, and offer our feet some much-needed breathability on hot days. They’re perfect for wetter environments, but we don’t recommend wearing them for long periods of time, like when you’re taking a long walk.
