Choosing a Shapers Fin

With so many surfboard fins on the market, choosing the right one can seem tricky. At Freeride, our experts make selecting fins easy. We stock a wide range of Shapers fins suitable for different setups including 3-Fin (Thruster), 4-Fin (Quad), Twin Fin, Longboard, and combination sets. Shapers fins are available in three bases: Dual Tab (traditional screw-in tabs), Shapers 2 Base (click-in with a rear grub screw), and Single Tab (one solid base with a single grub screw).

Choosing fins starts with your weight—smaller fins for lighter surfers and larger fins for heavier riders. Next, identify your surfboard fin system: FCSII (modern click-in system), FCSI (traditional dual tabs with screws), or Futures (single tab with one screw).
