The Christenson long-railed twin fin has a performance rocker. That means speed flow and good maneuverability for a board of it's length. A good big-wave twin fin option. You could take this baby as a one-board quiver anywhere.

The Freeride team recommend for the Christenson Wolverine either of the below fin options:

FUTURES X PYZEL BOB CAT TWIN FIN

The name The Wolverine was actually a nickname for Christenson himself! Yeah, as a youngster he says that he was pretty feisty. He was once able to take on four people and handle them, so that’s the name he earned from one of his colleagues that saw the whole thing. However, this was many years ago; in his own words: “Now I’m all peace and love.”

|Time to Undress Your Secrets

The Wolverine was designed to be a twin fin; just a twin fin for that longer rail style surfing. Based on the 20 year-old- design and still kicking Nautilus, as it is the Lane Splitter, you will find tons of similarities like the rocker, the contours and the overall design. We have some interesting things to it though that makes the Wolverine has its own magic too.

Being Chris Christenson a big fan of long rail surfing himself, and a true believer that the performance surfing doesn’t need to happen in a sub six foot surfboard, he has come to this new concept that is materialized in The Wolverine.

Christenson Wolverine:

The Wolverine is a great travel board. It comes as a Twin Fin and shares the same bottom curves as Chris' well loved and well tested Nautilus and Lane Splitter. This is the same basic rocker that he uses of most of his models. The bottom concept is a spiral vee out the back, a little vee up the front for forgiveness and has a nice planing area in the midsection complimented with low rails. The concept is the same as an airplane wing with a real low apex that gives the board a lot more planing speed, bite, and hold. You could have fun on this board in waist-high waves or you could push it in proper 5-6ft surf double overhead with no problem, it's a lot of fun, and great for when your too lazy to ride a shortboard.
