The Gremlin is built to make the most of those less-than-perfect surf days while still giving you a taste of Pyzel’s “Funformance” approach. Inspired by the Ghost and Phantom, but shorter and chunkier, it’s designed to keep you excited about surfing even when the waves are small — and still deliver when conditions improve.

Its wider outline and low entry rocker make it easy to generate speed and glide through weaker sections, while added tail rocker keeps it performance-oriented for tighter, more responsive turns. A single to double concave flows into vee off the tail, making it a board that paddles easily, accelerates quickly, and still feels snappy and drivey underfoot.

Higher level surfers can ride it 4–6 inches shorter than their height for a lively, high-performance feel, while intermediates can keep it around their height for added stability. It’s also a perfect step-down option for beginners transitioning away from a longboard.
