The Mini Ghost was designed with Koa Smith as a shorter, chunkier take on one of his favourite boards, the Ghost. Built to deliver paddle power and stability in a smaller package, this board keeps the performance DNA of the Ghost while making it more versatile across everyday conditions.

Starting with Koa’s 5’9 Ghost, the design was shrunk down to a 5’5, then widened with a flatter deck and thicker, boxier rails. A modern beak nose packs foam under the chest for effortless paddle power. The result? A compact, throwback-inspired outline with the volume of a much bigger board.

Available with either a round tail or a bump squash, the Mini Ghost is tuned for small to mid-size waves, combining fun and forgiveness with Pyzel’s proven high-performance features. Best ridden 3–4 inches shorter than your normal shortboard, it’s an easy board to transition onto for less experienced surfers and a lively fresh feel for advanced riders.
