The latest Pyzel model designed in collaboration with John John Florence, created to fit between the Red Tiger and the Ghost in terms of wave size and performance. The Power Tiger is a refined version of the Red Tiger, built to handle bigger, more powerful waves. With adjustments to the outline, rails, and rocker, this board stays responsive at speed while delivering extra hold in hollow, cupped-out surf. It’s the board you reach for when your Red Tiger starts to feel too small and the waves demand more control and power.

Surfboard Features
Outline – Pulled-in nose and tail create more curve for speed, responsiveness, and tighter turns
Tail – Narrower tail holds firm at speed and prevents sliding out, while extra curve adds looseness in the pocket
Nose – Refined nose design fits into hollow, curved wave faces without catching
Rails – Thinner rails improve control at high speed, enhance carving, and allow smooth entry into barrels
Rocker – Added 1/8" of tail curve in the last 18" for looseness, rail-to-rail transitions, and holding power
Construction – Stock PU Polyurethane; custom EPS Epoxy available
Glassing – 6'1&Under 4+4oz deck+4oz bottom |  6'2&Over 4+6oz deck+4oz bottom
Fin System – Thruster (3 plug), available in both FCS II and Futures

Surfboard Performance
The Pyzel Power Tiger is tuned for high-performance surfing in waves that have more push. Compared to the Red Tiger, the outline has been pulled in through both nose and tail, giving it more curve for speed and responsiveness. The narrower tail adds hold while maintaining looseness when driving through tight sections, while the thinner rails allow smoother engagement at high speeds and better hold in barrels. With its refined rocker and outline, the Power Tiger comes alive once the waves get head-high and above, offering precision, power, and responsiveness in critical conditions.

You can ride the Power Tiger at the same length as your Red Tiger. Compared to the Red Tiger, the Power Tiger Runs 1/4 inch narrower and 1/16 inch thinner in equivalent sizes, giving the board a more refined feel in bigger, more powerful surf.
