Introducing the Pyzel Shadow in Round Surfboard - A high-performance shortboard addition to the Ghost family and has quickly become a favourite among team riders and everyday surfers alike. Designed as a true daily driver, it delivers the advantages of a wider, forward outline while maintaining a sleek, modern high-performance feel. 

For the 2018 Stab in the Dark project Jon wanted to make something fresh and new, but to start off with something that was tried and true. Knowing that the Phantom is a great board for those types of conditions he decided to start there and redesign it as a more refined, high performance shortboard, while still keeping the added flow and glide that defines the Phantom

Surfboard Features
Rocker – Added rocker through the last 12 inches of the nose keeps the board free and responsive in critical sections
Rails – Balanced rail profile with added sensitivity, offering control through turns while maintaining forgiveness
Outline– Wider, forward outline with the wide point centred rather than behind, creating speed and stability. 
Tail –The round tail version adds a touch more control and hold through turns, offering smoother rail transitions and a more drawn-out, connected feel compared to the looser, more release-oriented squash tail.
Concave – Tail rocker and concave closely match the Phantom, providing proven speed, flow, and control in everyday conditions
Fins – Thruster (3 fin), available in FCS II or Futures
Construction / Glassing – Stock PU Polyurethane (custom EPS Epoxy available). Stock under 6'2": 4+4oz deck / 4oz bottom | Over 6'2": 6+4oz deck / 4oz bottom

Surfboard Performance
The Pyzel Shadow blends everyday usability with high-performance capability. The forward volume and flatter sections generate speed easily, while the refined outline and hip keep it loose and responsive when pushed hard. It carries flow through weaker sections but still feels sharp and controlled when the waves offer more power.
