GROM SURFBOARD SIZING ADVICE
These recommended rider heights and weights are approximate guidelines for intermediate to advanced junior surfers. Advanced groms may prefer a lower-volume board for greater responsiveness, while progressing intermediate surfers may benefit from a little extra volume for easier paddling and wave catching.
The correct size will depend on surfing ability, fitness, current board volume and preferred wave conditions.

- Outline: Pulled-in nose and tail for speed, responsiveness and tighter turns.
- Tail: Narrower tail for extra hold and control at speed.
- Nose: Refined nose designed to fit into hollow, curved wave faces.
- Rails: Thinner rails for precise control, carving and barrel riding.
- Rocker: Additional 1/8" tail curve through the final 18" for improved manoeuvrability and hold.

SURFBOARD PERFORMANCE
The Power Tiger Grom is designed for young surfers progressing into more powerful surf. Compared to the Red Tiger, the refined outline and narrower tail offer additional control and hold at speed, while the thinner rails provide smooth engagement through critical sections.
The adjusted rocker keeps the board responsive and loose through tight turns without sacrificing control. It comes alive in head-high and bigger waves, making it a great option for groms looking to push their performance.
The Power Tiger can be ridden at the same length as your Red Tiger. In equivalent sizes, it runs approximately 1/4" narrower and 1/16" thinner, creating a more refined performance feel.
